- IBIL, 50% owned by Repsol and the Basque Energy Agency (EVE), now deals with renewable hydrogen mobility.

- The new company will be formally established on 31 May and will be based in the Abanto-Zierbena Technology Park (Bizkaia).
Hydrogen mobility will be boosted by the Basque Energy Agency (EVE) and Repsol through the shared ownership society IBIL, which will henceforth address this activity.
On the one hand, a new society will be created, EVsare, which will be formally established on 31 May and will be based in the Abanto-Zierbena Technological Park in Bizkaia. This new subsidiary of IBIL will take care of the current electrical mobility activity, which will subsequently be acquired by Repsol at 100%.
EVsare will continue its activity in the field of electric mobility: the development of technologies, services and capacities in the recharging of electric vehicles, as well as other innovative initiatives related to this sector, maintaining the control centre and its headquarters in the Basque Country.
Currently, IBIL is a leading company in Spain and Portugal in electric vehicle recharging technology. The ecosystem that has led from its industrial technological vocation brings together technology providers, recharge centre manufacturers, service providers and key actors in the field of electrical mobility to ensure the best service to its customers and contribute to an orderly and efficient energy transition.
The EVE considers that it has fully fulfilled its role of driving the Basque company with a high technological component dedicated to the provision of intelligent recharging services, and ensuring the maintenance of this activity in the Basque Country, the current commitment is to start working in the same way, but with the new challenge of mobility through renewable hydrogen, through the same society it shares with Repsol.
Repsol, as a multi-energy company, strengthens its commitment to electric mobility with the new EVsare company and strengthens its renewable hydrogen strategy through IBIL.
