Driving the transition

The 2030 Industry Plan of the Basque Government and the Energy Transition and Climate Change Act of the Basque Country establish the basic guidelines and the transformative projects on which the energy-industrial policy of the Basque Country will be based in the coming years. With the objective of decarbonizing the Basque economy by 2050, energy efficiency, the use of renewable resources, the penetration of new vectors such as hydrogen and CO2, and the availability of a robust and effective electricity network, are established as the fundamental pillars for the orderly development of the Basque energy future.
