Investment support programme for demonstration and validation of emerging marine renewable energy technologies 2023

The objective of this program is to support demonstration and validation activities of innovative technologies for wave and offshore wind energy, with the potential to contribute to greater penetration of renewable energies in the Basque Country. Eligible actions:

Actuaciones subvencionables

• Demonstration and experimental validation activities of full or close-to-full scale wave energy capture devices.
• Demonstration and experimental validation of full or close-to-full scale prototypes of floating marine wind turbines. 
• Demonstration and experimental validation activities for subsystems and components of any of the prototypes described above.

Budget allocation

The programme has a total budget allocated of EUR 2,500,000.

Aid limits

Minimum eligible cost: EUR 125,000.

Maximum eligible cost: up to EUR 10,000,000 depending on the type of action proposed.

Maximum grant per action: up to EUR 2,500,000 depending on the type of action proposed.
